Seminars

The A.P.P.A.C. based on the long experience of its collaborators as clinicians, researchers and writers, conducts educational seminars which aim at training professionals of mental health and informative seminars which are intended for the public and aim at providing important information about the occurrence and prevention of mental health problems.

In addition, the most experienced collaborators of the A.P.P.A.C. systematically provide supervision on their colleagues, who are recently activated in the field of Mental Health.

The educational mission of the A.P.P.A.C. is also served with the Congresses (national and international): A.P.P.A.C. Congresses give CME credits by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). The EACCME is an institution of the UEMS and provides CME activity for medical specialists, recognised by the American Medical Association (AMA).

 

The A.P.P.A.C. organizes each year 1-3 seminars on the following topics

Introduction to Psychotherapy for Children
1-year seminar for psychiatrists, psychologists, special education professionals and in general Health Professionals.

Introduction to Psychoanalytic Interventions
1-year seminar for psychiatry trainees and psychologists

Systemic / Group Psychotherapy
A 4-year seminar, conducted in the standards given by the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA).
