Adult Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is provided by the A.P.P.A.C.’s trained and qualified team of therapists. Initially, a diagnostic evaluation is performed to assess the client’s condition with attention to its psychological, biological, social and environmental components. The next step is to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for the individual and if needed for the family, often integrating ongoing care with health, mental health, educational and social service providers in the community.

Psychotherapy is also based in a formal, rewarding and professional relationship within which the client can safely explore and recover from difficult and often painful, emotional experiences.
